MB PRESSWORK GAINS SPEED IN MOVE TOWARDS AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY GLOBAL STANDARD

Midlands based metal pressings company MB Presswork have announced ambitious plans ahead of their International Automotive Task Force accreditation this September.

The company, who alongside sister companies Moseley Brothers and GF Laser offer a highly effective metal presswork, assembly and laser cutting service solution, has commenced a re-organisation programme that will facilitate an increase in production without compromise to the level of quality or service which the group currently deliver.

IATF-16949 LogoA redesign of the press facility area at their Dudley premises will further enhance the  efficiency of the companies workflow and ensure full compliance to rigorous IATF:16949 standards.

The standard, which is a technical specification for automotive sector quality management systems, was first developed as ISO/TS 16949 in 1999 by the IATF in conjunction with ISO’s technical committee for quality management, ISO/TC 176.Since then, it has risen to be one of the most widely used international standards in the automotive industry, and aims to harmonise the different assessment and certification systems in the global automotive supply chain.
